📢 BERG RIVER CANOE MARATHON 2026 – REGISTRATION & RACE DAY INFORMATION

Registration will NOT take place at the Paarl Canoe Clubhouse as in previous years.
✅ Registration Venue:
Die Platteland (Old Paarl Rugby Clubhouse)
Located upstream on the opposite side of the Market Street Bridge from the Paarl Canoe Club.
🚗 Parking
Paddlers are encouraged to park on the Die Platteland (Old Rugby Club) side of the river. This provides convenient access to both registration and the race start.
🕒 Race Day Schedule – Wednesday, 15 July
07:00 – Registration Opens for paddler check-in, Goody-Bag & Race Sticker Collection
08:30 – All boats must be in the boat pound (no exceptions)
08:40 – Official Race Briefing
09:00 – Mass Start
Please allow enough time to complete registration, prepare your boat, and attend the compulsory race briefing.
